Universal Systems and Technology (UNITECH) chooses GL Studio
over VAPS to create missile target interfaces

ORLANDO, FL, April 17, 2003 - Distributed Simulation Technology, Inc. [DiSTI] a leading provider of software tools and components for the development of advanced visual and simulation applications, today announced that Universal Systems and Technology has selected GL Studio for their next generation applications. Universal Systems and Technology is under contract with the US Army at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM. They are using GL Studio to develop cockpit interfaces for unmanned air vehicles and unmanned ground vehicles used as targets for various missile testing. GL Studio was selected to replace VAPS due to many factors including, GL Studio’s powerful object-oriented technology, use of photo-realistic images and ease of use in developing interfaces.
