Interface (HMI) software, today announced the release of the GlsMap Toolkit. GlsMap is the
ideal toolkit for adding real-time moving map capabilities to real-time applications. GlsMap is a
component based product for the display of map and symbology data in operational systems for
the Defense and Aerospace market.

GlsMap features real-time OpenGL rendering and paging of map data cells, allowing the user to
visualize large data sets in real-time. By leveraging the power of OpenGL, GlsMap enables the
fastest data display for pan, zoom, rotations and layer control. User defined symbology overlays
can be created with GL Studio or with the customer’s own tools.

GlsMap supports data formats used in military moving map systems, providing high fidelity
reproductions of cockpit map displays. Aviation customers will benefit from the CADRG/CIB
reader. CADRG/CIB is a MIL-STD map format found in most military aircraft maps. GlsMap
directly reads CADRG/CIB data without the need for a conversion tool.

Nautical users will benefit from the Digital Nautical Chart (DNC) reader. DNC is the MIL-STD map
format used in most naval vessels. The DNC reader supports real-time selection of map layers,
querying of the map database and decluttering capability. The look and feel of map symbology is
also customizable, allowing the map to emulate any brand of map display. GlsMap directly reads
DNC data without the need for a conversion tool.

GlsMap supports the industry standard GeoTiff format, allowing customers to use their own map
imagery sets. Large GeoTiff images are automatically tiled into smaller images to enable realtime
rendering.
